Bio

Albert Joseph Brown III, who is more famed as Al B. Sure, started his rise to the music stardom by winning Sony Innovators Talent Search in 1987. At the dawn of his career, he worked with Quincy Jones and contributed to the creation of his song The Secret Garden. Moreover, in order to dedicate all his time to music, Albert rejected a football scholarship at the University of Iowa.

In 1988, Al B. Sure presented his debut album Effect Mode, which included his hit song Nite and Day. The album remains his most successful creation to date being certified 3-time platinum. Besides, it brought the artist American Music Award and a Grammy nomination. Brown recorded 3 more albums, the latest of which, Honey I’m Home, was released in 2009.

Al B. Sure’s songs sounded in various movies and television series, including The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Head of State, Little Man and Battleship. As a producer and writer, he contributed to the success of Jodeci, Tevin Campbell, Usher and some other musicians. Moreover, Albert runs ABS Entertainment company.

Additionally, Brown hosted MTV Jams and appeared on some other TV projects. He currently works on radio by being a host of Love and R&B Radio Show.

In 1986, Al B. Sure welcomed his firstborn son Albert Brown IV, with Ann McDermott. He is now famed as Lil’ B. Sure. His second son Devin is a music producer who uses stage name Devin Loud. The identity of his mother remains a secret. The artist’s third son is Quincy Brown and he shares him with Kim Porter. Quincy was adopted by P. Diddy in early childhood and was raised as his son. Initially, the relationship between Brown and his son was pretty tense, but they became warmer in the last years. Quincy even presented a remake for his dad’s hit Nite and Day.

A curious fact: Albert studied at the same high school with rapper Heavy D.

It pains me that women allow men to reproduce knowing that the man has fathered other children that he doesn’t consistently co parent with. Stop the fatherless children being raised in the home. You adults know about contraceptions. Better yet “discuss” having any children raised by single parents. No man can do anything to a WOMAN that SHE Doesn’t Allow… Children live what they learn; “children will repeat the hurt and insanity of single parent home and divorce” ..SMH too much selfishness And no thoughtfulness of others lifetime of hell. A real woman manages a real “responsibilities” man. If not they both Must keep your legs closed or ????
