August Miklos Friedrich Hermann is a son of television stars Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann. He is their only biological child.
The boy’s name wasn’t chosen randomly as August was a common name for Peter’s family while Friedrich was the name of his grandfather. The kid’s second name is a nod to Mariska’s father Miklos.
Being only one year old, August appeared in Got Milk? advertisement with his mom. Today, he is often spotted next to his stellar parents at various events. Thus, he visited Pan New York premiere in 2015 and The Joyful Revolution Gala in 2016.
A curious fact: August was a long-awaited child for Hargitay as she was 42 when he drew his first breath. She revealed that nobody wanted to be pregnant more than she. She even wore full-on maternity pants when her stomach was still flat.
