Charlie Rhodes Afifi is the firstborn of Sarah Chalke and Jamie Afifi. He is home-schooled by his famed mom.
At the age of two, Charlie was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease after a series of wrong diagnoses. That pushed Sarah forward to raise awareness of that rare autoimmune disease to educate other parents who face the same problem. She even portrayed a mom of a child with Kawasaki disease in one of Grey’s Anatomy episodes.
A curious fact: Charlie is a big fan of Cars animated films. He even had a Finn McMissile cake for his second birthday.
