Corinne Foxx is a daughter of Jamie Foxx and Connie Kline. Though her real last name is Bishop, she decided to follow her dad’s example and use Foxx instead.
Corinne has been in the limelight since childhood. At 6, she appeared on The Jamie Foxx Show and at 10, she accompanied Jamie to the Academy Awards. Initially, she had no desire to be in the entertainment industry and went to study public relations at the University of Southern California. However, after working at an advertising agency for a short period, the girl decided to follow in her father’s footsteps.
In 2014, Corinne started her modeling career after debuting at the Bal des debutantes in Paris and in 2016, she was named Miss Golden Globe. She went on collaborating with various brands, including Ralph Lauren, Dolce & Gabbana and Kenneth Cole. What is more, Foxx walked the runway for Kanye West’s Yeezy brand and Sherri Hill along with appearing on the pages of Vogue, ASOS and W magazines.
As acting runs in her blood, Corinne Foxx made a debut in an episode Sweet/Vicious TV series in 2016 and in 2019, she starred in 47 Meters Down: Uncaged movie. Besides, she worked with her dad on All-Star Weekend film and became a DJ on his show Beat Shazam. The father-daughter duo is now planning to star in Dad Stop Embarrassing Me sitcom.
But Corinne’s activities don’t end here. In 2017, she launched Foxxtales, an online marketplace and lifestyle website, where she shares interviews with influential women, personal essays and tries to help female entrepreneurs. Additionally, she dedicates much time to philanthropy and is associated with several organizations, including Girl Up! and NAMI.
A curious fact: at 14, Corinne was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. Since then, she constantly tries to cope with her anxiety and seems to be successful in that.
