Dita Von Teese is a burlesque star who also deals with modeling, acting and business. She began performing burlesque in 1992 and gained international fame in 2002 after posing for the Playboy cover.
Dita’s acting career started with softcore pornographic films. Today, she is most famed for starring in Saint Francis movie and The Death of Salvador Dali short film as well as for appearing in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation TV series.
Having a passion for designing, Von Teese launched her own clothing and underwear line. Besides, she released several fragrances.
Dita became Marilyn Manson’s girlfriend in 2001 after he asked her to dance in one of his videos. In 2004, the musician proposed and espoused his sweetheart at home on November 28, 2005. In a week, they had a luxurious ceremony at an Irish castle.
However, in 2007, Dita’s marriage with Manson was dissolved as she couldn’t stand his infidelity and drug abuse anymore. In 2014, the Burlesque Queen got romantically involved with graphic designer Adam Rajcevich.
