Elizabeth Ann Hanks is the only daughter of Tom Hanks, whom he shares with his first wife Samantha Lewes. Her mother died of bone cancer in 2002.
Being a child, Elizabeth tried her hand at acting in her dad’s movies That Thing You Do! and Forrest Gump. However, it seems that she had no aspirations to follow in her parents’ footsteps and decided to become a writer.
