Jacob Pechenik is an entrepreneur and producer who is also famed for being a spouse of Hollywood star Zooey Deschanel.
Jacob is a co-founder of TechTrader enterprise software company as well as YellowJacket Software fintech firm. In 2010, he launched Venture Forth Productions, film finance and production company. In such a way, he got engaged into the entertainment industry.
Pechenik dealt with producing of such movies as Before Midnight, Jobs, Devil’s Knot, Life of Crime, The Immigrant, The Skeleton Twins, Song One, Amnesiac and Solace.
Jacob Pechenik got acquainted with Zooey Deschanel on the set of Rock the Kasbah in 2014, where she starred and he served as a producer. Their romantic relationship developed pretty fast and the couple made a red carpet debut at 2014 Emmys. Jacob and Zooey got hitched on June 21, 2015, at an intimate ceremony in Texas. In a month, they welcomed their firstborn, daughter Elsie. In 2017, the girl was joined by brother Charlie. By the way, the actress converted to Judaism, Jacob’s faith, soon after their wedding.
The sad news was broken in 2019. The couple announced about their separation in September and in October, Pechenik already filed for divorce. Despite their marriage failure, Deschanel and Pechenik claim that they remain friends, business partners and co-parents to their adorable kids.
A curious fact: Jacob and Zooey are fans of healthy food. They run The Farm Project and Lettuce Grow companies together, aspiring to inspire people to grow fruits and vegetables themselves.
