James Brolin deals with acting, producing and directing. He first appeared on TV in 1961 in an episode of Follow the Sun series but gained wider recognition after starring in Marcus Welby, M.D. He later played in Hotel, Pensacola: Wings of Gold, Life in Pieces series plus The Reagans television film.

James got romantically involved with Barbra Streisand in 1996 after meeting her at a dinner party and they tied knots on July 1, 1998, at Barbra’s estate in Malibu. The couple doesn’t have mutual kids but Brolin is a stepdad to his wife’s son from previous marriage Jason.
A curious fact: when Brolin was asked what personality inspired him, he credited Clint Eastwood. Moreover, he reveals that he draws inspiration from his spouse.
