Despite being the firstborn of legendary Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver plus a spouse of movie star Chris Pratt, Katherine Eunice Schwarzenegger is a successful woman who made a name for herself.
Katherine got a degree in communications at the University of Southern California and made up her mind to become an author. As she suffered from some self-esteem issues in youth, she decided to share her experience in her debut book titled Rock What You’ve Got in 2010. She proceeded with writing I Just Graduated . . . Now What?, sharing recommendations for recent graduates, and kids’ book Maverick and Me. Schwarzenegger’s latest publication is The Gift of Forgiveness. By the way, the book was advertised by Chris Pratt who described it as something truly good for the soul.
Additionally, Katherine Schwarzenegger is an animal rights activist who is involved with various organizations, including Best Friends Animal Society & ASPCA. She also hosts podcast The Gift of Forgiveness.
Katherine and Pratt were first spotted together in June 2018. There were rumors that they got acquainted through Maria Shriver, but Chris told that they first met at church. Their relationship became serious very quickly and already in January 2019, the Star-Lord popped the question. And in April, the couple made a red carpet debut at the Los Angeles premiere of Avengers: Endgame.
Chris and Katherine tied knots on June 8, 2019, in Montecito, California, at a rather low-key ceremony and soon, traveled to Hawaii for a honeymoon. In August 2020, the spouses welcomed a baby girl named Lyla. Moreover, Schwarzenegger is a stepmom to Pratt’s son Jack, whom he shares with Anna Faris.
A curious fact: Katherine drew her first breath on the same day with music star Taylor Swift.
