Kurt Russell’s acting career started when he was 11 with Dennis the Menace TV series. He gained fame thanks to starring in The Travels of Jaimie McPheeters and appeared in dozens of other projects, including The New Land and The Quest.
In 1963, Russell debuted on the big screen in It Happened at the World’s Fair but became a star after playing in The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes. Today, among his other notable films are The Barefoot Executive, Silkwood, Big Trouble in Little China, Overboard, Tango & Cash, Tombstone, Stargate, The Hateful Eight and The Christmas Chronicles.
In 1979, Kurt espoused Season Hubley and in a year, they welcomed son Boston. After the dissolution of their marriage in 1983, he started dating Goldie Hawn. Though they had known each other since the 1960s, romantic feelings arose between them only on the set of Swing Shift. In 1986, the lovebirds were blessed with son Wyatt.
A curious fact: Goldie’s daughter Kate Hudson considers Kurt to be her dad. That’s why, she asked him to walk her down the aisle at her nuptials with Chris Robinson.
