Lily Collins is a movie and television star. Hailing from England, she drew her first breath in the family of rock star Phil Collins and antiques shop owner Jill Tavelman. She has 4 paternal half-siblings named Joely, Simon, Nicholas and Matthew.
Collins tried her hand at journalism and contributed to such magazines as Elle Girl, Teen Vogue and Seventeen. In 2008, she talked about the presidential election for Nickelodeon’s series Kids Pick the President. Moreover, Lily worked as a model before her breakthrough in the movie industry.

In 2012-2018, Lily was in an on/off relationship with actor Jamie Campbell Bower. In 2019, she got romantically involved with director Charlie McDowell. And in September 2020, the lovebirds announced their engagement.
A curious fact: Collins auditioned for the part of Bella in Twilight, but it went to Kristen Stewart. Moreover, she lost to Stewart in a battle for the lead part in Snow White and the Huntsman.
