Lisa Kudrow gained international fame thanks to her acting talent though initially she dealt with medical research and got a degree in psychobiology. She began acting in The Groundlings improvisational troupe and made a television debut in 1989 in Married to the Mob.
Lisa made a breakthrough after playing Phoebe Buffay on Friends show, the part that brought her Emmy and SAG Awards. Her other credits include Mad About You, Feel Good, Space Force, The Comeback and Web Therapy series. The latter two were created by her. Moreover, the celebrity produced many projects, including Who Do You Think You Are.
Kudrow’s big screen debut happened in 1983 film Overdrawn at the Memory Bank. She later landed parts in Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion, Analyze This, The Opposite of Sex, Kabluey, P.S. I Love You, The Other Woman, Easy A plus some other movies.
In 1995, Lisa tied knots with Michel Stern. Their son Julian drew his first breath in 1998.
A curious fact: Lisa doesn’t like singing and isn’t good at playing the guitar though her Friends character loves performing songs.
