Manolo Gonzalez-Ripoll Vergara is the son of Hollywood star Sofia Vergara and her first spouse Joe Gonzalez.
Manolo seems to have inherited his mom’s artistic skills. He has already tried his hand at acting, directing and modeling. He appeared alongside Sofia in Hot Pursuits and together, they participated in the Head & Shoulders advertisements.
In 2015, he graduated from Emerson College with a degree in film production. In 2017, he directed Waking Up and Post-Mortem short films.
Manolo adores his dog Baguette, a Chihuahua mix, and tells that Sofia considers the pet to be her granddaughter. In 2019, he launched Canini by Baguette company, selling goods for dogs. Though, he credits Baguette as the founder and himself as an employee. It’s evident that he has a great sense of humor. Moreover, his funny posts made Manolo quite popular on Instagram, where he already has more than 380 thousand followers.
The young man is very close with Sofia. He supports her no matter what she does and often accompanies her to various events. For example, he was next to her when Vergara was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and was her date at 2017 Emmy. Moreover, he walked his stellar mom down the aisle at her nuptials with Joe Manganiello.
However, his mother isn’t his only idol as the young man is a fan of Cher since he first visited her concert in 1999.
A curious fact: Manolo is lactose intolerant despite the fact that he appeared in Got Milk advert with his mom.
