Marcell Johnson is the only son of Taraji P. Henson and her former boyfriend William Lamar Johnson. He deals with modeling and acting.
At 18, Marcell modeled for MySquareBear brand. Moreover, he already has some acting credits. Thus, he appeared in Empire and Detroiters television series as well as Needlestick, A Girl Like Her and Misled movies. He was also in the sound department for Little film.
Marcell studied at University of Southern California but transferred to Howard University. Henson claimed that her son faced racial injustice when cops illegally examined his car. However, later it was revealed that he was under the influence of marijuana. Moreover, some marijuana was found in his car but the policeman let him off with a warning. So, the celebrity had to apologize.
Marcell’s father was murdered when he was only 9 years old and it was a big trauma for him. However, his mother asked a therapist to help him to pass through those dark times. Basically, Taraji is a very caring mom and always protects her only child. In his turn, Marcell also supports his mother. For instance, he accompanied Henson to the ceremony of getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
