Mari Hakuta is the elder daughter of comedian Ali Wong and her spouse Justin Hakuta. She drew her first breath in November 2015 via emergency cesarean section following a 24-hour labor. She got her name in honor of Marie Kondo, a writer of The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up book.
Wong is a very caring mother who always puts Mari and her younger sister first. Thus, the celebrity scheduled her Milk & Money tour taking into account Mari’s school schedule.
Though the photos and videos of Mari and her sister Nikki are often posted on Instagram by their famed mother, the celebrity still tries to protect their privacy and never shows her kids’ faces.
A curious fact: her mother was 7.5 months pregnant with Mari when she was shooting her special Baby Cobra.
