Bio

Matthew Koma is a music artist who writes and performs songs as well as works as a music producer. He currently sings at Winnetka Bowling League band. Moreover, he is famed for being a fiancé of Hilary Duff.

In 2012, Koma released his first EP Parachute, followed by The Cherrytree Sessions. He is also famed for his 2016 single Kisses Back. Matthew collaborated with many music artists as well, comprising Zedd, Hardwell and Tiesto.

Moreover, the artist has a great number of songwriting credits. For instance, he wrote Zedd’s Clarity, Kat Graham’s Put Your Graffiti on Me, Carly Rae Jepsen’s This Kiss plus Kelly Clarkson’s Someone. Koma also provided soundtracks for I Feel Pretty, The Vampire Diaries, Divergent, Glee plus some other television series and feature films.

The romantic feelings arose between Matthew and Hilary Duff in 2015 when they collaborated on her album Breathe In. Breathe Out. Koma also co-wrote plus produced the album’s title single. The couple made their first public appearance in January 2017 at a pre-SAG Awards party. They split in March 2017 because of too busy schedules but reconciled in October.

In 2018, Hilary and Matthew became parents of a baby girl named Banks. Koma is also a stepdad to Hilary’s son from previous marriage Luca. In May 2019, the couple announced their engagement. Actually, these music stars seem to be madly in love with each other. They often share cute photos of each other as well as posts full of love on their social media.

A curious fact: Koma is a stage name as the artist is actually Matthew Bair.
