Nukaaka Coster-Waldau, whose birth name is Sascha Nukaaka Motzfeldt, is most famed for her acting credits. Her other passion is music. However, Motzfeldt started her career with modeling and was crowned as Miss Greenland in 1990. She later participated in Miss Universe contest.
In 1998, Nukaaka made a film debut in Heart of Light. Afterwards, she embarked on roles in such films as Wildside, White Night, Himmerland, The Experiment and Anori. Besides, she appeared in Thin Ice and Forbrydelsen television series.
Nukaaka got acquainted with Game of Thrones star Nicolaj Coster-Waldau on March 17, 1997, when they performed in a radio play together. And in 2003, the family was expanded by another girl named Safina.
A curious fact: Nukaaka’s father is politician Josef Motzfeldt. He was a Minister for Finance and Foreign Affairs of Greenland in 2009-2013 and a member of the Parliament of Greenland.
