Jones espoused his high school sweetheart Jeri Caldwell in 1957. Though their marriage was dissolved in 1966, it resulted in the birth of his firstborn, daughter Jolie. In 1967, the musician tied knots with Ulla Andersson, a mother of his daughter Martina and son Quincy. As soon as they got divorced in 1974, he got hitched to Peggy Lipton who gave birth to daughters Kidada and Rashida. However, that marriage also failed and ended in 1989.

A curious fact: Quincy Jones was present at his own memorial service. In 1974, he had a couple of brain aneurysms and doctors predicted that he might not have much time left.
