Sarah Chalke got involved into acting at 8 by performing in musical theater productions in her native Canada and at 12, she became a reporter for local kids’ show KidZone.
In 1992, the young star landed her first television role in the City Boy film. Having reached fame by appearing in Roseanne and Scrubs series, she proceeded with playing in a number of other television shows, including Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy, How I Met Your Mother, Mad Love, How to Live with Your Parents, Speechless and Firefly Lane.
In 1994, Chalke made a big screen debut in the Ernest Goes to School film. Today, her movie credits include XCU: Extreme Close Up, Alchemy, Mama’s Boy, Chaos Theory, The Wrong Missy and After the Reality. By the way, she served as an executive producer of the latter.
In 2006, entertainment lawyer and Sarah’s longtime boyfriend Jamie Afifi proposed to her. They welcomed son Charlie Rhodes in 2009. And in 2016, a baby girl named Frances became the newest addition to the family.
A curious fact: Sarah has a pretty unusual talent. She can write with her toes.
