Savannah James

Savannah Brinson is an entrepreneur, philanthropist and interior designer who is also famed for being a spouse of basketball legend LeBron James.

Savannah drew her first breath in Akron, Ohio, in the family of JK Brinson, a former employee of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and a businessman, and Jennifer Norris-Brinson. She has 4 older paternal half-siblings: sisters Deidre and Shannon, brothers Eric and Jerrold. She is very close with her siblings and their families often gather together.

At high school, Savannah Brinson was a cheerleader and softball player. Later, she tried her hand at designing interiors and launched her furniture line Home Court. Now, she dedicates much time to philanthropic work. For instance, Brinson provides dresses to unprivileged students to attend high school proms via her annual charity Savannah’s I PROMise Makeover.

Additionally, she is the founder of mentorship program Women of Our Future and a supporter of a charity called Girl Listen, which aims to help girls to overcome various troubles, from teenage pregnancy to drugs and alcohol abuse.

Savannah and LeBron got acquainted in 2000 while studying at high school. The athlete popped the question on December 31, 2011, and espoused his sweetheart on September 14, 2013, in San Diego. Their nuptials were visited by many famous guests while Beyonce and Jay-Z performed their single Crazy in Love.

The couple welcomed their firstborn, son Bronny, in 2004 and in 2007, he was joined by brother Bryce. In 2014, a baby girl named Zhuri became the newest addition to the family.

Savannah is a very supportive wife. James shared that she was the main reason for his success as she was next to him regardless of his outcome. He calls her an engine in his car.

A curious fact: LeBron James turns out to be very romantic. On their fifth wedding anniversary, he invited singer Daniel Caesar to perform a serenade to Savannah in their living room.
