Sebastian Bear-McClard deals with movie production but is most famed for being a spouse of Emily Ratajkowski. Sebastian’s mom Liza Bear is a filmmaker and a co-founder of Avalanche and Bomb magazines while his dad Michael McClard is a painter.
Bear-McClard served as a producer of such films as Still Life, Heaven Knows What, Good Time, Uncut Gems and Two Against Nature. Besides, he directed short films Bottle Poppaz and Bolt from the Blue along with being a writer for the latter. Sebastian also tried his hand at acting and appeared in The Minority, Heaven Knows What and Good Time.
Sebastian and Ratajkowski knew each other for several years as they had many mutual friends. They were first spotted together on Valentine’s Day in 2018 and already on February 23, they got hitched. Emily later shared that her beau popped the question at NY’s Minetta Tavern and didn’t have a ring. However, he made a ring out of a paper clip and she loved that romantic act.
By the way, the couple preferred to have a low key courthouse ceremony instead of a luxurious wedding as Emily wanted the nuptials to be special and had no desire to get stressed by planning a big event. She even refused from a traditional wedding gown and wore a yellow pantsuit instead.
Being already officially married, Emily and Sebastian started visiting public events together. They supported each other at movie premieres and were guests at Marc Jacobs’s wedding. And though they don’t have kids yet, the spouses adore taking care of their dog Colombo.
A curious fact: Sebastian is good friends with internet sensation The Fat Jew.
