Shya L’Amour, whose real name is Nicole Marie Algarin, is a music artist and a songwriter. She drew her first breath in Tampa, Florida, and was raised alongside two elder brothers, including Orlando Vasquez. She currently lives in both Tampa and Atlanta, Georgia.
In 2011, L’Amour presented her debut single titled Lil’ Momma Badd. Since then, she has recorded many songs, the most popular of which are Paper Baby, On Go and Yes Indeed. Additionally, the artist runs a YouTube channel, where she shares her official music clips as well as more casual videos.
Another triggering factor for Shya L’Amour’s popularity was her affair with rapper Offset. They had a one-night stand on the Fourth of July in 2014. As a result, their daughter Kalea Marie was born in March 2015. Initially, Offset doubted his paternity and refused to make a DNA test even though Shya wanted to do that. Moreover, the woman revealed that the Migos star blocked her number and changed his number after discovering her pregnancy.
However, Offset’s approach to paternity has changed recently. L’Amour told that his spouse Cardi B helped him to grow tremendously and become a better father to their daughter. The woman admits that Cardi has a really kind heart.
In 2019, Shya filed documents requesting a judge to enforce regular support payments from Offset. Though she received money from him, she wanted to have the payments scheduled.
A curious fact: Shya has another daughter named Ta’Lasia who is older than Kalea. The woman even created a separate Instagram account for the girls.
