Sosie Ruth Bacon is Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick’s daughter. Her name was inspired by Sosie Hublitz, an art director of the Miss Rose White movie her mom starred in before her birth.
In 2005, Sosie debuted on the big screen in Loverboy and proceeded with playing in Wishin’ and Hopin’, Ana Maria in Novela Land, Story of a Girl and Charlie Says. Though, she is more famed for having parts in The Closer, Scream, 13 Reasons Why, Here and Now plus Narcos: Mexico TV series.
While studying at Brown University, Sosie earned a part in the 2012 musical Fiction in Photographs. Besides, the young star sometimes sings with her dad’s music band The Bacon Brothers.
A curious fact: Sosie and her family members have identical tattoos with their initials.
