Stella Parton is a country music star who both writes and performs her songs. Moreover, she is a sister of another celebrity, Dolly Parton, who is three years older than she.
Being only a 7-year-old girl, Stella already participated in a local TV program alongside her elder sibling. Soon, she and her other two siblings, Cassie and Willadeene, started to perform gospel music together. They even recorded In the Garden album in 1967 in cooperation with their mom. While being a high school student, Stella disclosed her talent to songwriting.
In 1975, Parton presented her first solo album I Want to Hold You in My Dreams Tonight released on her own label. It was followed by more than 20 other albums.
Moreover, Stella Parton deals with acting. She appeared in The Dukes of Hazzard series, A Dance for Bethany and Ghost Town movies. Stella also was featured in different touring musicals and was a participant of 2018 Celebrity Masterchef.

On August 11, 1988, Stella tied knots with Steven A. Messer but the marriage was short-lived and ended in 1991.
A curious fact: Stella took part in the creation of some shows for her stellar sister’s theme park Dollywood. Additionally, she provided consultancy and played in Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors television film.
