Prior to his show business career, Terry Crews was a football player who represented several NFL teams, including Los Angeles Rams and Washington Redskins, from 1991 to 1996.
In 1999, he landed his first acting job in Battle Dome television show. However, Crews reached popularity thanks to his parts in Everybody Hates Chris, Are We There Yet? and Brooklyn Nine-Nine series. Besides, he is famed for starring in The Family Crews reality show plus hosting Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and America’s Got Talent.
Terry’s big screen debut happened in 2000 film The 6th Day. Today, his credits include Friday After Next, White Chicks, Norbit, Who’s Your Caddy?, The Expendables, Blended, The Ridiculous 6 and John Henry movies.
On July 29, 1990, Crews espoused Rebecca King. Today, the spouses are parents of daughters Azriel, Tera and Wynfrey as well as son Isaiah. Besides, the celebrity adopted Rebecca’s daughter Naomi.
A curious fact: Terry is good at drawing. He used to work as a courtroom sketch artist and earned more money by drawing the portraits of his fellow NFL players.
