Tiffany Haddish

Tiffany Haddish is loved by millions of people for her astonishing acting and comedian skills. She fell in love with comedy at 17 after visiting the Laugh Factory Comedy Camp. Tiffany made a professional TV debut in an episode of That’s So Raven in 2005. She later played in Real Husbands of Hollywood, If Loving You Is Wrong, The Carmichael Show plus The Last O.G. television series.

Haddish first appeared on the big screen in 2005 movie The Urban Demographic. However, she earned popularity thanks to starring in Girls Trip in 2017. The performer’s other movie credits comprise The Oath, Night School, Nobody’s Fool and The Kitchen. Moreover, Tiffany had a number of voice roles, including the ones in The Lego Movie 2, The Secret Life of Pets 2 plus The Angry Birds Movie 2.

Among the accolades earned by Tiffany are Primetime Emmy, BET and 2 Black Reel Awards. In 2017, she presented her memoir titled The Last Black Unicorn.

However, prior to her success, Tiffany had rather a troubled life. Her father abandoned her when she was a small girl and appeared in her life when she was already an adult. Her mother Leola later remarried to Othello English, a father of her 4 younger children. In 1988, Othello spoiled the brakes at her mother’s vehicle trying to kill her and her children. As a result, Leola had a brain injury which led to schizophrenia.

That’s why, Tiffany and her half-siblings were raised in foster families till 1994 when their grandmother started to take care of them. Her sister Jasmine is a fan of basketball and video games design. She is already a mom to an adorable daughter. Haddish also has sister Tuesday and brother Justin. The name of her fourth sibling isn’t disclosed.

In 2000, Haddish got hitched to William Stewart, a private investigator whom she promised to marry if he found her estranged father. As a result, the man succeeded in the search in three weeks and Tiffany’s father walked her down the aisle. However, in 2011, William and Tiffany filed for a divorce and did that once again in 2013, when their marriage was finally dissolved. The actress revealed that William beat her and caused her miscarriage. Though, the man stated that Tiffany made an abortion.

A curious fact: Tiffany Haddish has rather a weird habit. She drinks turpentine and states that a teaspoon of it in combination with sugar, castor oil or honey helps to get rid of a cold.
