Vanessa Marcil started her career with stage acting before debuting on TV in General Hospital series in 1992. She rose to prominence in the wink of an eye and even earned a Daytime Emmy for her performance. After that, she gained parts in other popular projects like Beverly Hills, 90210 and Las Vegas.
In 1996, Marcil made a big screen debut in The Rock and proceeded with playing in a couple of other movies, including Storm Watch. She also hosted Blush: The Search for America’s Greatest Makeup Artist show in 2008 and in 2015, Vanessa took part in reality series Queens of Drama.
Additionally, Vanessa Marcil created podcast LoveStop with her good friend and a godmother of her son, Suzanne Whang. After the latter’s death, she revealed that Kassius will become her co-host. Moreover, the celebrity dealt with kids’ clothes design and launched Baby Gagoo line with her sister Sherry. She also designed a clothes line for African kids called Kass (in honor of her son).
In 1989, Vanessa got hitched to Corey Feldman but their ways parted in 1993. In 1999, she got romantically involved with Brian Austin Green after getting acquainted with him while filming Beverly Hills. In 2002, their son Kassius was born. However, the couple called it quits in 2003. In 2010, Marcil tied knots with another actor, Carmine Giovinazzo. In 2011, she suffered two miscarriages and, as a result, the spouses got divorced in 2013.
In 2015, Vanessa’s boyfriend, who works as a deputy sheriff and is called MC by his sweetheart, proposed to her. The couple expected a daughter in 2018 but lost the child. It was the seventh miscarriage for the actress.
A curious fact: she got her name in honor of actress Vanessa Redgrave.
