Marc Sinclair, whom we know as Vin Diesel, is most famed for playing strong and masculine characters, but, at the same time, he isn’t afraid of being funny. Vin’s acting career started rather unusually. Being seven years old, he and his peers planned to roughhouse in the theater but faced its artistic director who promised not to call the police if they agreed to play in one of the productions.
Diesel’s professional start happened in 1990 after he obtained a small part in Awakenings. He made a breakthrough in 2000 thanks to starring in Pitch Black but turned into a real international star because of his parts in The Fast and the Furious and XXX. He also played in Saving Private Ryan, The Chronicles of Riddick, The Pacifier, Find Me Guilty plus The Last Witch Hunter movies. Additionally, Vin was responsible for the voice of Groot in the Guardians of the Galaxy and other films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Besides, Vin Diesel deals with screenwriting and directing. He showed those skills in his short films Multi-Facial and Los Bandoleros as well as movie Strays. The artist produced many of his projects through his company One Race Films, which was also involved in the production of Hitman film.
In 2007, Vin got acquainted with Mexican beauty Paloma Jimenez and fell in love at first sight. In 2008, their daughter Hania drew her first breath. In 2010, the family was expanded by son Vincent, followed by another girl named Pauline in 2015.
By the way, the performer never knew his biological dad and was raised by astrologer mother Delora and her husband Irving H. Vincent. Surprisingly enough, Vin has a fraternal twin named Paul, but the brothers look absolutely different.
A curious fact: Diesel is a fan of the Dungeons & Dragons game. He played it for more than twenty years.
