Lena Headey’s path to fame started in 1992 when she landed a part in Waterland film. Having reached recognition with The Brothers Grimm, she proceeded with roles in 300, The Contractor, Dredd, The Purge, The Adventurer: The Curse of the Midas Box, Zipper, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Fighting with My Family and The Flood movies.
In 1993, Headey made a television debut in an episode of Screen Two. She was featured in many other projects and starred in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Though, her most acclaimed work is the portrayal of Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones.
In 1992-2001, Lena was romantically linked to Jason Flemyng. On May 19, 2007, she tied knots with Peter Loughran. In 2010, the spouses welcomed son Wylie, but their marriage was dissolved in 2013. In 2014-2019, the star dated Dan Cadan, a father of her daughter Teddy, who drew her first breath in 2015.
A curious fact: Lena is good friends with Peter Dinklage. It was he who recommended her to the producers of Game of Thrones.
