Jack Perry is Luke Perry and Rachel Sharp’s son. Being encouraged by his dad, he got engaged in wrestling in childhood and in 2015, he began his professional path on the independent circuit using the nickname Nate Coy. However, he was later called Jungle Boy because of looking like Tarzan with his long curly hair.
In 2018, Jack won his first competition, All Pro Wrestling Junior Heavyweight Championship. In 2019, he signed a deal with All Elite Wrestling and appeared in its series titled Dark and Dynamite. Finally, in 2020, the athlete gained a debut win in Dark as a part of Jurassic Express tag team.
Luke always believed in his son’s success and even visited some of his matches. Moreover, Jack worked as a production assistant on the set of Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood, the last movie his father was featured in before his death.
A curious fact: Jack’s maternal grandfather is Alan Sharp, a famed Scottish novelist and screenwriter.
