Joe Tedrick Costner is a son of Kevin Costner and Cindy Costner. As a child, he appeared in Tin Cup and The Postman films as well as accompanied his dad to various events, including Message in a Bottle premiere.
Today, Joe prefers to keep away from the limelight and rarely makes public appearances. Having graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in history, he decided to build a career in the music industry. He wrote and performed songs but achieved success as an audio engineer and music producer.
Joe Costner is an owner of Spartan Recording. It’s rather an unusual recording studio as Joe transformed a trailer into a mobile studio space to record music in a completely different way.
A curious fact: Kevin shared that though he was busy at work, he was with Joe and his sisters for all little moments, including their performances in school plays when they forgot to sing because they were too busy waving at their dad.
