Kid Rock

Robert James Ritchie, who is more famed as Kid Rock, is a multi-talented musician who writes and performs his songs as well as plays various musical instruments. He got engaged into the entertainment industry in the 1980s being a member of hip hop band The Beast Crew.

In 1990, Kid presented his first album Grits Sandwiches for Breakfast. In 1996, he started to experiment with rock music and recorded Early Mornin’ Stoned Pimp, which was followed by his most successful creation to date, Devil Without a Cause. The album earned diamond certification. To date, the artist has released 11 studio albums.

Kid Rock’s songs sounded in a vast number of movies, comprising Why Him?, Rock the Kasbah, A Walk in the Woods, The Wedding Ringer and Into the Storm. He tried his hand at voice acting in an episode of The Simpsons and Osmosis Jones. Moreover, Kid played in Joe Dirt film and had a minor part in Stacked TV series.

Additionally, Ritchie runs The Kid Rock Foundation and donates money to various charities. He has his own online shop, selling CDs, clothes and accessories. And if the artist has a spare minute, he loves hunting and playing golf.

In 1983-1993, Kid was in on/off relationship with his school sweetheart Kelley South Russell. In 1993, their son Robert drew his first breath. In 2001, he got romantically involved with Pamela Anderson and they planned a wedding before calling it quits in 2003. However, they reconciled and tied knots in 2006 on a yacht in Saint-Tropez. After Anderson suffered a miscarriage in November 2006, the couple decided to dissolve their marriage. In 2017, Rock proposed to his girlfriend Audrey Berry.

A curious fact: Kid Rock isn’t a very emotional person. He hates hugs and seeing people cry. Moreover, he doesn’t like making speeches.
