Peter Hermann is most famed for his acting credits. However, he studied at Yale and worked as an English teacher before entering show business.
In 1997, Hermann made a television debut in the Guiding Light series. Later, he played in Get Real, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Beautiful People, Angela’s Eyes, Cashmere Mafia, A Gifted Man, Blue Bloods and appeared on many other shows. Since 2016, he has been starring in Younger series.
Among Peter’s film roles are the ones in Swimfan, United 93, Edge of Darkness, Philomena, Chinese Puzzle and All Is Bright. Besides, he played on stage in Broadway’s plays Talk Radio and War Horse.
In 2002, Peter met Mariska Hargitay on the set of Law & Order. And though they broke up several times, he finally espoused his sweetheart on August 28, 2004. In 2006, they were blessed with son August. And in 2011, the spouses expanded their family by adopting two kids named Amaya and Andrew.
A curious fact: the celebrity authored a book for kids titled If the S in Moose Comes Loose.
